i folded the river. what do you think?

calling two bets cold on the river on a scary board like this is rough. but then again folding on the river always sucks. no reads, yet.

Here are the hands that beat you: AA/KK/TT/QJ.

What hands can they have? I doubt they play any of those pairs so weakly preflop, so you only have to worry about QJ.

I would expect my hand to be good 50% of the time here. I think folding the river is a clear and expensive mistake. I'd 3-bet before I'd fold.

97 is the main concern on this river with the SB bets out. If they have QJ then more power to them.

i probably should have just titled this thread "somebody please tell me that this isn't the worst river fold ever" or perhaps "why the [censored] did i spend this hand thinking only about J9 and QJ?"

also i will change my avatar but only if it is to something even gayer. i have a picture of my room mate ( the black guy in my current avatar ) with his arm around me wearing nothing but an osama bin ladin t shirt he bought in thailand. that might work.
