You have little (if any) equity edge 3-way.

Are you serious? I have the nut-flush draw, an overcard, and the best type of backdoor str8 draw.

Why not cap the flop then?

I don't think capping is such a bad idea, equity-wise. However, by not capping, I keep a little bit of deception about my hand. Indeed, If I cap the flop and then checkcall the turn, I might as well waive a flag that says "I have the nut-flush draw."

(Ugh. It just occurred to me also that UTG could have a hand like 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. If so, it doesn't sound like he's giving it up.

I really don't know what's best on the river here.)

Well, it's too late to edit, and I'm picky enough to feel the need to correct this.

Anyway, obviously 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is impossible (and even if UTG could hold that hand, I think he might fire again with it on the turn, given the huge number of potential outs he'd have).

I do think there's some possibility of a suited 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], but the chances that that's what UTG has aren't really all that high.

My initial gut reaction was that the bet is pretty bad. However, you only have to be good here 1 time in 8. And it certainly looks as if both oppos are on draws. So after doing a little hand reading, I think the bet is not bad..... I like it.

In my opinion this is a horrible river bet. From the description of these opponents there is no way they folded a better hand. Don't you think against this line up a check would be better since you could perhaps induce a bluff from one of the very hands that folded to your river bet?
