Default How should I increase my PFR%?

My PFR% is just a tad under 6%, and I'm sure that means I'm missing out on some +EV. (OK, so my sample's too small, but I'm assuming that PFR% is one of those stats that converges pretty quickly, so hopefully you'll forgive me.)

I've been following Ed Miller's SSHE starting hand guidelines pretty much to the letter, leading to a VPIP of about 16%.

Question: how should I go about increasing my PFR%? Is it just a case of waiting for those times when there are only one or two limpers in front of me (I'm talking about when I'm in late position) and then raising with hands that I'd otherwise only have limped with? Or is there more to it than that?

Any advice anybody could give me on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Open raise with broadway cards or ATo in MP. Don't be afraid to raise Axs in LP with a few limpers.

Basically, raise in position. UTG raises are monster hands. LP raises are hands you can get away from if action heats up.

Post in the cutoff.

Seriously, opportunities to raise are more about position (relative to the button and relative to tighter players) than it is about having cards, like this.
