Whatwere you expecting from the flop: KTT and an all in ahead of you? This is why you fold KT pf. At this point with no action I'd make a 1/2 pot bet and check the turn and river if called; and fold to a raise.

The preflop call is fine. It's ~5% of your stack, youre in position, and your hand is pretty good (for speculative cards). Flopping a draw or pair is fine in an unraised pot last to act, so you have lots of options.

On that flop you gotta fire when checked to. I'd be the pot, 800. You can't give free (or cheap) cards on that board. Just take the pot now.

Why would limping here be awful? No one has shown strength. One limper before you . You have position. It seems fine. On the flop, you hit it, again no one has shown strength, so bet it. What's the problem?

I thought the position and decent holding was enough to warrant a call pre flop but didn't want to commit too much of stack w/ a raise - when checked to me on flop i bet 500. here's the problem. sb and bb fold and other limper min raises to 1000........now what is the line of thought and my move?

Well I think up until now you played it fine. Now comes the moment of truth. What's your read on this player? Even if you decide to fold its not that bad. You still have $3000 left to play on. No biggie.

only read on player stems from this - Within the last round i was in bb with 1500 chips - folded to button who min raised to 200 and villain reraised to 1200 with AQ - i had AK and was allin for my 1500. Other than that hadn't seen him do hardly anything - leads me to believe one of two things.....

1) He is a tight player and has thus likely made a hand (conversely b/c of this i would expect him to raise in this position with any kind of decent-good holding he is going to play and also with flush draw on board i figure it's more unlikely he is checking a big king, two pair or better)

2) He is bored/irritated he doubled me up and is making a move at me - given a min raise isn't a huge move but for a third of my stack it is moreso. Any thoughts given this information?

I really dont want to go to the felt here with K-10, but Villains actions seem very strange on a draw heavy board.

It almost appears that villian is trying to get a free turn here with a small raise and get away cheap if you push..

Or he could be trying to get you to push over him, I think this is the less likly of the two..

Tough spot to be in has, villain open raised with KQ or limped with it more often ?

I think it is more likely to be #2, altough he could be slowplaying a set or even 2 pair, because with a made hand I cant see a decent player checking with a straight and flush draw on the flop.
