Default Top two hand 2-4

I witnessed this hand
Hero has 600 behind, Villian has covered.
Hero is dealt 69c in MP. 6 handed. EP limps, Hero limps, CO limps, Button folds, SB folds, BB checks. 4-handed.

Flop is 569 rainbow. BB checks, EP bets 12, Hero calls 12, CO raises to 50. What should be Hero's line from here on out?

What if Hero were to raise to 50 initially and get cold called behind. SHould Hero then bet 2/3 pot on the turn, check/call river? What line should he take and why?

Default Re: Top two hand 2-4

i call the flop bet, make a standard size lead at the turn and fold to a raise. often the villain could have a9 or 65, which will just call on a blank turn.

since there are a couple hands you're beating it's way too tight to fold but by betting the turn you get a much better idea of where he is and 87 will raise again.

you must remember that after betting and getting called on the turn, it is morally imperative that you river another 6.
