Default This probably isn\'t \"LAG\"...

But I'll take a shot since I'm neither drunk or playing.

Button's view of me was far from LAG. Button is very rockish.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Button ($418.60)
Hero ($472.40)
BB ($725.80)
UTG ($1164.45)
MP ($82.25)
CO ($850.85)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2. MP posts a blind of $4.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP (poster) checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $8</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $30</font>, Hero (poster) calls $28, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP folds, CO folds.

Flop: ($76) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $45</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $100</font>, Hero calls $397.40 (All-In)

If button didn't have an overpair he certainly had AK.

um is there someone for whom this is NOT their standard play? i don't mean to be a "dick" as i have been so affectionately called, but if you are not routinely pushing these big draws in this situation HU v raiser but you are pushing sets and 2 pair, you are losing mucho EV.

calling a reraise with 45s in the sb isn't standard for me but i can see it if there are huge implied odds there.

But there aren't huge implied odds, and the original raiser is still to act. I think preflop is the laggier street by far, and the caveat in the title is unnecessary.

AEKDBet, I'm guessing you were planning on sometimes putting a move on him even if you didn't flop a nice draw?

It really depended on the texture of the flop. If the flop was something like T 7 2 rainbow I'm done with the hand.
