Ugly BB hand
3/6 B&M
Hero has T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in BB. EP limps, couple folds, LMP raises, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, Hero calls(?), EP calls. 5 to the flop for 9.5 SB. Flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Checkraise to protect your hand? |

Re: Ugly BB hand
PF: looks good
Flop: Pretty tricky but I'll take a stab. You have a vulnerable hand and your relative position sucks so you can't really c/r the flop to protect your hand unless CO and Button fold. So I'd check and see how the action went before deciding. |

Re: Ugly BB hand
*bump*
seems like a nothing hand, but my play on this hand last night has been bothering me. |

Re: Ugly BB hand
Preflop: I think it's a marginal call, but OK.
Flop: I don't see how a C/R is going to protect your hand from anyone except EP. If CO and button call LMPs likely bet, then they will probably call your raise (unless LMP 3-bets, something you really don't want to see). I would likely bet out on the flop. Does anyone just check-call the flop, and wake up on the turn if the right card hits? Looking at the board and how vulnerable your hand is, I think this may be the right play. Jon |
