Default KTs - Lag Central?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
5 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks,

Flop: (4 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP3 folds, CO raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets...

Thoughts? I'm in the middle of a long dry spell, barely breakeven after ~12,000 hands and I'm concerned that I'm becoming too passive. This is an effort to counteract that.

I would raise preflop. MP3 open-limped, CO limped along, SB completed. They've got crapola.

Give that you checked, of course you 3-bet.

I don't see what's too laggish about it.

What are you in trouble against here? AT, and a set of 3's or 5's.
Mostly you'll be ahead here, fo' sho'.

Here is where you become unpassive. Raise this sucker up preflop. Pretty much anytime you have two suited broadway cards, and it is limped to you in the CO, button or the blinds, you are either making a good play, or a very small mistake by raising.

I think that on the hand in question, that the three bet was reasonable. If you get raised again, you are most likely in real trouble.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

You played fine. Consider raising pre flop.

I don't understand what you think was so LAGish about it. You're heads up with TPGK + backdoor flush draw on a completely ragged flop. He could raise such a huge range of hands here. Be glad he raised and gladly 3-bet or call to check raise the turn, you have a big hand.

P.S. Raise PF

Final Pot: 8 BB
Main Pot: 7 BB, won by Hero.
Pot 2: 1 BB, returned to Hero.

Thanks for the input, I'll work on being more aggressive in situations like this preflop.
