How could I hav gotten more money from this play?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, Button calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Button folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (12.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.50 BB

I did try for a steal raise earlier...

the raise on the turn was atrocious after he raised you on the flop. He knows you 3-bet preflop and likely have an ace, yet he is not slowing down. Call it down.

My biggest fear was that the BB caught the A on the flop. MY 3-bet was to see if I still had the best hand at that point. Was my thinking incorrect?

Im assuming the rest of this is Trolling. Because this is horrendus. Don't you see the Ace on the board? And the raising? I know its hard to fold them 'boys, so, you can call down if you absolutely have to...don't raise this guy. Edit: Now you said you raised to see if you were still ahead, then he re-raised you, and you called anyway..so really what was the point?

P.S. Can I get someones permission to leave my job already? Seriously. It's a 3 day. Anyone?

sorry... you are correct... my actions were a bit reckless after the flop I guess I should just consider myself lucky my opp did not catch a part of the flop and saw the river w/ pp 7's
