Yep, questionable. Actually it sucks. If want to put all your money in at least check and give a worse hand a chance to bluff.

Huh? This is a $45 bet into a $85 pot. Checking the river would be bad.

NH OP.

Bah you are right AJ with those stacks left this is not as bad as I thought. I though villian had 60 left. If 60 left I check to the 1 liner, but with 45 he might call with AK.

interesting that you don't like it... the line seems best to me. villain raises PF and calls 2 near PSB along the way. given that, i think its easy to put him on AQ/AK.

i don't see whats so bad about a push even if villain did have more than $45 left... thoughts?

pssh.. even if the hero had more than 45 left i'd bet close to the pot.

how much would you be kicking yourself in the ass if they checked behind??

What hand is villain going to bluff with? There aren't really any missed draws... his most likely holding is some A or a random pair if he thinks your full of it. Sometimes he has a higher set, or he had 97 and hit, but I would stick it in and expect to get called by lots of one pair and two pair, etc hands.

I have been accused of giving my opponents too much credit in the past and the accusers are probably right. I think a 60 buck all in is easy laydown for anything less than top 2 but im in the minority here. I do think 45 like the hand actually was is a bit more callable after I read AJ's post and thought about it.

He raised preflop don't worry he is unlikely to have a nine! Played fine, he probably has a random ace, may or may not have paired his kicker, hope he called the river.
