Sometimes this kind of play is a good semibluff. I can't tell the position for sure, but I might psuh with AJo against a late position raiser. Sometimes, I might push against an mid position raiser with AQ or TT even if I might be dominated, if I thought there was a good chance of getting a fold.

Rather than calling a 1/6 of your stack, you may be better off pushing or folding. By pushing, you may win the pot right there.

Some people just can't fold AJ or whatever. In a lot of situations, it is better to fold a good hand to a raise.
