Default Here\'s a hand I just played

Is this too aggro? I want to showdown, right? So it didn't cost me in this particular situation because I didn't bet on the river. Should I have checked the turn?

Ultimate Bet 3/6 Hold'em (4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, UTG calls.

Flop: (5 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls.

River: (5.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

[ QUOTE ]
* you're folding the BB to steal too much.
* You're aggression is out of wack. You just bet bet bet raise fold. This doesn't work against over aggressive 6-max opponents. You have to give these guys rope and let them hang themselves. You're raising when you should be calling. You're pushing these Aggressive players off their nothing hands. It’s OK to check/call, check/call, check/call sometimes. Flop AF should be more like 2.5-3. Turn ~ 2.
*You're FRB is too high as well.

I'd have bet the river there too and called a raise against an unknown because of the busted draws on board. You shouldn't be checking the turn here. I don't think your problem is in situation like this. You have the initiative here. It's fine to keep betting when you have something. It's when your on the defense already that you might want to consider a more passive line. Don't try to take the initiative from Agr. players who will just Bet-bet-bet with any two.

That last bit seems like a good piece of advice. I think that is something I need to improve.

I'm pretty sure he isn't playing there anymore. The hands he posted were from UB, and we pm'd a couple of times about jumping ship to Party when it opened 3/6. This does beg the question...what the heck are you doing at UB, man?

I'm sure you already know this, but 50k hands doesn't mean much.
My last 50k were at 0.3 BB/100. The 50k before that were at 2.2 BB/100.
And your stats are very similar to mine.
