Same name
Deposit by Firepay (never used)
Cash out by bank draft (remember same name + party has mailed me a check before)
Different postal address (I moved)

What if I did all of the above but the account was in my wife's name? Would that open problems at tax time?

i would think that creating all new info and accts under the mrs's name is the best way to go. regarding taxes, im gonna take a WAG (wild ass guess) and so you are both individually and jointly responsible for the taxes.
