Default I just openlimped on the button.

C'mon AggroHUSHposter. I know you're out there.

3-handed game. SB is 53/23, predictable and not super aggressive preflop, but just 3-bet me with 75s a few hands ago. BB is 56/30 or so. Also incredibly aggressive preflop. Again, a bad handreader postflop. He's more aggressive postflop than the SB, probably 56/30/1.5 or so in aggression factor.

We've been playing 3-handed for a while. Most of the pots are 3-ways for 3-bets. Occasionally they're 3-ways for 4 bets. Pots are only 2-ways when I fold.

I look down at my cards. I see J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. And I limp.

Mention of gimmick account in original post + Reply from gimmick account in only 3 minutes => Rob is Mr. AggroHUSHMan? Hm.

As for the limp, I think this is okay, so long as you have no chance to steal the blinds. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in HEPFAP that if you have 0% chance of stealing the blinds, and you have a hand without a large equity edge, it can be reasonable to try and keep the pot small preflop in order to maximize your opponents mistakes after the flop.

What other types of hands would you be doing this with?

Doesn't HPFAP say you should be limping with your worst hands and your best hands HU? I think that might be appliciable here.

It sounds like raising will not steal the blinds, and you may pay 3 sb to see the flop which does not sounds like an attractive proposition. You have position and an average hand which is definitely playable. Raising here is just setting money on fire.

The key question here is does J9o have enough of an equity edge against 2 LAGgy players? I think it does.

A good amount of J9o's stealing value comes from fold equity. Even though that's virtually non-existant here, I believe it's still a raise. Hot/cold equity is around 5% against two randoms. You may get 3-bet, but you also have position. Any hand that 3-bets your raise will also raise your limp, so I don't see that as much of a deciding factor.

Tell AggroHUSHposter to stop being so passive and to grow enough balls to raise this hand.

I'm confused, shouldn't we at least be 5-betting this turn?

I'm not entirely sure this is true. In fact, in a game where people tend to allow their ego to make more decisions than their head, I think it might actually be the opposite.
