Default JTs Blind Defense

Party 2/4, 10 handed, no reads on anyone

Preflop: Hero is BB with Jd, Td.
7 folds, Button raises, 1 fold, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) Jc, 2s, Ts (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero raises, Button calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 2d (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (6.25 BB) Qc (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 8.25 BB

<font color="green"> I'm most curious about the river check, should I have bet and folded to a raise or do you like me trying to induce a bluff? Also, any other commentary on the hand is always appreciated

i don't like the flop check-raise and i don't like the river check as this is an easy value bet.

Definitely bet the river, and call a raise do not fold.

why slow the blind stealer down, you flopped a strong hand.

So you just call the flop and C/R the turn?

Actually I like the flop checkraise as well. You are up against a perceived stealer, and he will ALWAYS bet the flop here. I go for the flop check raise, then lead the turn. The other alternative is go for the checkraise on the turn, but if he has nothing, that turn is checked through more often than not. I think the flop checkraise gets an extra half bet in the pot more often than the turn checkraise gets a bet, or trying to induce yet another bluff on the turn and river....most villains slow down with nothing at some point. If the guy is super aggro, then he might fire a bullet all three rounds, but its not likely. And lead the river after leading the turn.

You'd better believe it. Every single time.
