Bong, pipe, joints, or one hitter.

for the purposes of this poll, these are my choices - brownies are out -

here are some pros and cons as I see it.

Bong

pros - seems to be a cleaner toke - generally also seems to be stronger.
cons - seems to be smellier - leaves more odor - also seems to burn higher amounts of consumption.

Pipe

pros - small pipe means easy to move and screens filter out debris.
cons - seems to be harshest on lungs -


joints

pros - very easy to conceal/transport - less mess
cons - waste of smoke - also harsher on lungs

One hitter

pros - efficient use of smoke - easy to transport in a wooden box with extra -
cons - reload after every hit - seem to suck my fair share of residue thru it

A friend of mine has modified his bong to fit the one hitter pipe instead of the bowl, and that works well - I've pulled the bowl off my small pipe and attached it to the bong and I think I burn less...

what do you guys use/recommend - other pros/cons

Uh, arent you like 30 or something? I think people who smoke after they graduate from college are just a little weird. If you are not as old as I assume...then i dumb.

Joints are my choice. Blunts are awesome, but waste a lot. What about waterpipes? Worth a try. Once smoked from an ivory bowl, it gave off a nice glow when toking, very visual like a good windowpane.

yah, I know...I am a little weird -but I actually just started - trying it as a substitute for alcohol - and I didn't start drinking till I was 29.

I feel I got my emotional development out of the way at that point anyways. Everyone I know who used when they were young stopped growing up at that point - you have a 40 yr old acting like she did at 16 when she started using.

big thing is, I don't have family to support - I'd be much harsher on myself if I had kids and a wife depending on me.

Pipes my choice.

Joints waste too much and leave a strong smell on your hands and clothes.

Bongs are just too hard to move around and bring from place to place.

The one hitter just wastes valuable time.
