I don't trust vpip until around 150 or so hands. It's just too swingy initially.

I considered the cap to be marginal, but the presence of extra dead money convinced me to go for it in case i was good or was splitting.

I think its interesting that others thought it was standard, i thought it was marginal, and you thought it was bad.

what would your flop line have been?

more action forthcoming...

You can probably fold since he bet into two of you. But given pot size, calling is not a big mistake.

Hero pays off the flush. Sucks, but you're going to be good here the requisite 7% to make the call.

i don't know if I can find a fold here vs someone I just sat down with, but I really hated that last card nonetheless.

I called. results in white -

 villain had AA for three of a kind Aces. Hero had AK for a pair of Kings with an Ace kicker 

thanks for the playalong guys. It looks like I should have slowed down on the flop, though I'll have to really analyze how often to do this at 1/2.
