i just checked out the website and they don't seem to have any limit holdem events happening that week. can that be possible?

They will not have Omaha or Stud events either.

Casinos in the south have outright cancelled Stud events and replaced them witha more low entry fee NL events, so yes its very possiable a real shame though [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

stud tourneys
foxwoods and the wsop are about the places that can draw over 200 for stud events. Have a stud event in AC that week you would draw about 40 - 50 entries for a 500 buy in maybe 75 in they are likely. At least you know when you schedule the NL events you will have to 200 - 400 people in AC. There is not much market for stud tourneys even in vegas.
