Default Raymer\'s ATo

Raymer > t1000000
Shak ~ t300000

Daniel Shak raises to $20,000 preflop. Greg Raymer reraises him another $25,000, and Shak reraises another $50,000. Raymer calls. The flop comes 9c-8c-6c, and Shak pushes all-in for another $200,000 and Raymer calls. Raymer shows Ac-10s, while Shak shows K-K. The turn is another club, making a nut flush for Raymer, eliminating Shak and adding another $300,000 to our chip leader's stack.

Comments from some knowledgeable folk? How well did Raymer play this? How well did Shak play it? What would you have done?

The only part of Raymer's play that could be questionable is his small reraise. He had 3:1 to call the 4 bet and at least 12, possibly 15 clean outs on the flop, so the chips went in.

Shak's tiny little 4 bet is horrible and cost him the WSOP.

Raymer had correct odds at every decision point (preflop he has implied odds), except I'm not sure I like the small raise. Though I think that it did a good job of revealing to Raymer whether his opponent had a big pair or not.

You mean, Raymer isnt falling for the little "maybe he will think I am weak if i min-raise" move. That move KILLS at the 10$ tournaments!
