Default Boring QQ hand against a nemesis.

I think this is fairly standard, but just wondering about the betting amounts I guess.

In my first orbit at the table, I raised pf with T8s and 3 barrel-bluffed every street including a river all in with 10 high, when my opponent called me down with 5 high and rivered a straight. Since that hand he has sort of playfully berated me, and was making fun of my play. We are both sort of gunning at eachother.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero ($451.60)
Button ($125.96)
SB ($1027.32)
BB ($856.91)
UTG ($184.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls $4, Hero raises to $18, Button calls $18, SB (poster) calls $16, 1 fold, UTG calls $14.

Flop: ($76) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $70, Button folds, SB calls $70, UTG folds.

Turn: ($216) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($216) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $150

I think your line is fine. You are not folding a 7 with the 150 and an over pair like 9s or 10s will likely call. Was this a blocking bet? (I think its a fold if raised) What was your plan if SB raised you?

P.S. Im glad I'm not the only one at these stakes that fires 3 bluff barrels early in a session thinking Ill blow someone off a hand. I feel like such a donkey when it doesnt work. But the action that follows is priceless.

Obv not a blocking bet since he is last to act. he is not getting checkraised here very often but it's a clear fold then.

Since at least one person at the table thinks you are a fish, on this super scary board, why not make it look like a steal on the flop with a bet of 2/3rd or something in that range. Maybe SB calls, and then when you check the turn, he pushes. You definitely have to bet with this many people on the flop, obviously.

Given the action, I think your check on the turn is kinduv trappy. If SB is a donk and is chasing the flush draw, you give him a free card as well. I would bet out here again. Obviously, your betting amount is based on feel and history between the two of you. Whatever the case, I'm sure you can come up with a nice number. If he has a pair, he will call you down at least on the turn. And then maybe he does something creative on the river like push you all-in, which would make your day.

FWIW I think he calls this with almost any pair because as I said he thinks I'm a fish.

I think that >80% of 2/4 players will look you up with a pair here.
