Default KK - standard flop against short stack

Villain bought in for $60, 1/2 blinds. I have K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in MP.

Preflop: villain raises to $4, I reraise to $15, 4 folds, villain calls.

Flop ($33): A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Villain checks, I ?

He was $45 left. Push or let him catch a pair on the turn? This situation comes up a lot at the site I play at (so many short stacks).

Play elsewhere...

I would push, short stacks can't play for crap anyway. They're always looking for allin situations, so give him one.

My line is to check behind and induce an all-in bluff from Villain on the turn. If he had less than the size of the pot left in his stack I could see him calling all-in on the flop w/ anything, but with 1.5x the size of the pot behind, I think his call means an A too frequently to push flop.

If I tell him I'm scared of the A by checking flop, I can call bets from 99 and QT on the turn. Checking flop gets more money in from more hands you beat, IMO.
