I don't think you are waaay too tight but definately too tight. You should play looser on the button and CO, ie limp more and steal more.
My biggest concern is your abyssmal BB stats. You are -0.3 there. If you were -0.20 your winrate would be 1.5 BB/100 instead of 0.28. Your big blind play is by far your biggest leak.

Yeah I'm real lousy defender. Should I use the same handrange when defending as when stealing?

I'm not sure you are down so much in BB only because of bad blind defence. You get to play hands in the big blind that you don't play in other positions. You are out of position as well. It could be that you play bad oop with medium strenght hands, i.e. you call down too much, fold too much, don't bluff enough or whatever.
Look through your BB hands and post some questionable hands.
