I'd raise more pre-flop. You made it just enough so that the SB and MP2 had good odds to draw. And there stack sizes don't take a big hit by calling another 800. So, raise to something like t2000.

Flop looks fine. He could have a wide range of hands here including Kx, 99, 55, or a spade draw. You're ahead of the range. Get your chips in now.

He's definitely the "donk" for limping and calling a pre-flop raise with K9. But this gets back to raising more pre-flop.

Looks fine, and he looks like the donk IMO. He got very lucky is all, I would put all my chips in on that flop anyday.

Umm no? I would have gone broke here too. If anyone is a donk it's him calling a 3bet with K9off suit... The only thing I would be scared off here is a set of nines but I don't think I would be able to make that read and fold aces.

Nah, I'd gone broke here too.

EDIT: Some people use the bbx3 + one bb for each limper so maybe an preflop raise of 1600-1800 instead of 1200 but I would prolly have gone with 1200 too to get the limper to call me. He got lucky here.

Donk accusations from someone calling raises w/ K9o in MP are not to be taken seriously.

You raise 3XBB because of the strength of your hand and the fact you WANT callers. Unfortunately, your caller woke up with a big flop.
