Default Quick Pre Flop Question #2. a 10os utg, BB is 1/10 of stack

When the bb is 1/10 and the play is a bit tighter but still unpredictable, what do you do with a10 os utg? BB is big stack and calls some raises pf that are non-all in with weak hands, makes strange plays, seems psuedo competent. Sb is weak and lightly competent.

It depends if it is early or late in the tournament. I know the rule is 10xBB, but there are times when you can afford to take the hit and wait.

Well about an hour and 10 minutes into it. Maybe the 5th level. Why does it depend if it was early or late in the tournament aside from the blind size in relation to my stack? Please elaborate and provide examples and reasoning.
