just a question...what hands call the turn for that amount that fold the river there?

and tell me what you think villain's thought process is in folding with that particular holding throughout the hand.

99, 55, TT, JJ, QQ.

Which of those hands do you expect to fold to your river bet besides 55? And how often do you expect 55 to call the flop?

you dont mention stacksizes, but your river bet is way too small here... youre trying to get him off 99-QQ here... and you bet half pot? bet 2000 on river.

When someone pushes as hard as you did on a fairly drawless board on all 3 streets, I generally become skeptical.

he can have AK before the flop but that type of player generally folds it to the flop bet. in the rare instances AK makes it past the flop it folds on the turn.

seems borderline. this sounds like the type of player that may well fold his medium overpair but i think you could have saved this line for a better board. after he calls your flop bet 3 of the hands your hoping he had 88/99/TT have extra reason to call your turn bet. id just take the card here. once you make it to the river like this i think he will fold somewhere near the right amount of the time for you bluff to work. i think 55 probably folds the flop here btw.

Don't like it. He has QQ a lot here and I doubt he'll fold it.

You may even see a weirdly played AA/KK or even a set. Seriously.

I expect him to fold TT and below, for sure. This game plays pretty weakly(with a few exceptions of course).
