as an addendum, i generally feel like i'm being too aggressive. the problem is there are quite a few maniacs at this level on party and i don't want them to make a big bluff at the pot on the river if i check the turn. am i thinking about this the wrong way?

In this hand,if one of them had a J,there is a good chance that he would have led out to test the waters.I like the flop bet from the back end here. You could possibly pick up the pot right here,& if not,you keep control. After you bet this turn & don't get check-raised,you can feel pretty sure nobody has a 4(not too likely, anyway).Nice job, imho.

If you are going to bereraising with ATs (not always a great idea btw) DONT MIN RAISE! You most certainly do not want callers with this mediocre holding and a min raise is a great way to get a lot of callers.

The flop bet is iffy, against a single opponent it is obvious, but two is a little sketchy. Its not bad, just not very good.

the turn is much more shadey. The check call on the flop means one of a few things. Either a flush draw, a weak J, or a monster waiting to c/r you on the turn. I feel like I may check the turn and call a smallish bet on the river if no overs come.

Betting the turn seems to me like building a larger pot with 2nd pair on a paired board. Not a great thing to do.

Obviously check behind on the river.

That mini-raise PF makes me confused. Can you give your thoughts on the MR PF, and the advantages of doing so? I see no benefit (perhaps in special situations when you want to isolate cheaply) other than this <---.
