QT suited, raised and reraised behind me
Who calls the two bets cold preflop here, after limping? I probably should have, I guess, I just thought I was pretty much dead beyond making a straight or flush. Button had AQ, MP3 had pocket fives.

Re: QT suited, raised and reraised behind me
Unless table is very loose-passive limping with QTs from UTG+1 is questinable play. Folding to 3-bet is correct play.

Re: QT suited, raised and reraised behind me
Limping QTs is perfectly fine if the table is loose. Folding to the 3-bet is only correct if you're sure its going to be less than 4 to the flop.

I think folding when it comes back around to you is awful.

Re: QT suited, raised and reraised behind me
SSH starting requirements in tight games say any 2 suited cards ten or higher and whenever i am raised holding em i always feel queeze. Then I see you guy ssyaing playing it is questionable, I am confused.

Re: QT suited, raised and reraised behind me
The statement that playing QTs UTG+1 was "questionable" is well "questionable" in itself. If you aren't willing to play these kinds of cards you are probably playing a bit too tight.
Now whether to call 2 more when it comes back to you -- that is a whole 'nother discussion. |

Re: QT suited, raised and reraised behind me
You are getting 10:2 on your call, which I think is enough. It could get capped behind you, but on average one of the limpers will probably call as well, which would make your odds 16:3.
I call. EDIT: BTW if buttons AQ wasn't suited remember to make a note. |

When its raised and reraised behind u u should treat it as a cold call so ive read.

When its raised and reraised behind u u should treat it as a cold call so ive read. [/ QUOTE ] This is probably not bad advice. More specifically, hands loose their high-card value. AJo would be an easy fold in this situation. A hand like QTs keeps a lot of its value because it's a strong drawing hand and a fold isn't so clear cut, even though you wouldn't typically cold call 2 bets with it. |
