Poker site rankings

Are any online sites better than others in terms of win rate and bad beats. Do any seem easier than others? I havent played all that much, but here are my thoughts. Keep in mind these are just subjective thoughts from my limited experience and arent necessarily real.


1) Party Poker: I never catch cards
2) Paradise Poker: amazing beats; lots of fluctuation
3) Poker Stars: I always get slowplayed by someone holding the nuts
4) True Poker: Not many players; not alot of action
5) Pokerroom: seems reasonable, nothing special
6) Ultimate Bet; Doyles room: break even alot; uneventful
7) Pacific poker: bad beats; amazing pre-flop calls
8) Full Tilt: too hard; feel like I'm playing top pros;

I was playing so scared and passive, with a subconscious expectation to lose. I have since realized that playing internet poker is detrimental to my game not because it is rigged, but because:

1) I have yet to be convinced of its integrity
2) Having not yet been convinced of its integrity, I play low limit games as a way of protecting myself from large losses
3) Hence I am playing games with no positive expectation or win rate
4) Unable to win, my game is changing into an extremely tight, passive style in order to minimize deviation and minimize loss.
5) When I get back into the B&M casino games and start playing for real money, this strategy turns me into a loser.

The changes in my game happened over a long period of time, and only now am I beginning to notice how weak tight and scared my game has become.

So my recommendation to myself is: if you're not willing to play online poker for decent stakes, i.e. games where there is a good chance to make an hourly win rate, dont play at all. The many hours of wasted time breaking even in $.50/$1 games will make your game weaker, stagnant, and weak tight, and soon you'll find live games you used to be able to easily beat become extremely difficult.
