Default Losing streak, or have I gotten worse?

I've been playing the $11 SNGs on Party Poker for about two weeks now. After 92 games, I'm making an average profit of $2.46 per game. However, almost all of that is from the first week of play. From May 31 to June 5, I played 42 games and made $200 (reaching a peak of $6.02 per game). Since then, I've played 50 games and have only broke even. Is this a cause for concern that my game is getting worse, or is my sample size too small to draw any conclusion?

I've replayed my games from the week when I was winning, and don't notice any significant changes in my game play.

It could either be you not being good or normal variance.

Just keep playing and if you go broke a few times just keep tryiing and getting better.

Here is what I am wondering. If you suspect your sample size is to small to draw any conclusions why didn't you do a search of these forums to confirm that it indeed is too small instead of posting this topic?

I usually think of a winning/losing streak as three or four games in a row of finishing ITM or not finishing ITM. You don't think there are necessarily any patterns from 42 games of averaging $6/game, followed by 50 games of averaging $0/game?

No, i don't think there's any pattern. A loosing streak can be 500+ SnG's, better get prepared.

Yes, you are in the infamous "average $6 for 50 games, $0 for 42 games pattern".

This pattern is gone into in great detail in all great poker books. This is a very, very bad pattern and indicates that your play is in a rut that it will probably never recover from.

If you wanna find out if you've gotten worse, don't ask, just keep playing. How are we supposed to know with just some stupid statistical data you have?
