Re: Question for Bart and Dave
Didn't they do that in the Turning Stone live tourney? The cards looked warped but I remember Kev saying it was because of the sensors in the cards.

Re: Question for Bart and Dave
[ QUOTE ]
why don't we ever see any preflop reraises except with AA thru QQ. Seriously, against these players, I'd pop it up everytime with AQ suited. Especially since they're showing all the junk they're playing. [/ QUOTE ] Probably because you'll get calls from 5+ people, and end up losing to 106 offsuit. |

Re: Question for Bart and Dave
Yes, there were sensors in the cards themselves.
I'm sure Bart's talking about RFID technology, it just may be too cost prohibitive to replace the chips to include the RFID stuff. |

Re: Question for Bart and Dave
Tommy Hufnagle did win a WSOP Bracelet in 1998 for 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/play...a=r&n=4151
Assuming it's the same person of course. Kevin... |

Playing tighter out of your comfort zone would still be better than playing J6 to a a raise like our friend Arturo.

Re: \"Official\" Live at The Bike thread (10/20) (5/10 NL)
Sometimes the smaller no-limit games are tougher than these bigger games. The real challenge is getting comfortable playing these bigger games. It's easy for you and me to say...."move in with a great draw..." It can be harder when it's your $5,000 you have to risk.
But if you're comfortable at these limits...there isn't a better game anywhere. thanks for your support and for watching - feel free to send me a private message with any questions or comments. See ya tomorrow night at 6pm - pacific time - Friday night baby!!!! It's action night.... |

Re: Question for Bart and Dave
I helped do some freelance RFID programming and execution of the technology, and take it from me, it would be EXTREMELY cost prohibitive to do so with the chips.
But what a fantastic idea about the cards. |
