Default Early Position - Raise or Reraise to you Left

In "Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players" a lot of time is spent on what to do from early postion depending on if you are first in, there is a caller or two, or there is a raiser. (and adjustments if the game is tight, loose, etc..)

However, very little time is spent on what you should do if there is a raiser on your left after your initial call or raise. In general....

Which hands should re-raise?

Which hands should call?

Which hands should fold?

That's because it's pretty simple:

If you have called, and then you get raised, the only time you should fold (to a single raise) is if your opponent will only raise with AA and you have a dominated hand (AK, AQ, etc).

You can reraise with hands that do well multiway, if you have a lot of opponents.

Call with everything else.

I'm a beginner. That would mean???

AA, KK, QQ, maybe JJ
AKs, AQs, AJs, KQs

What about if you raised and it was raised and reraised?

Call with everything except AA where you can cap it?
