Default 5/10 PS JJ v Open Button Raise

Me: $1000
Button $410

I have only played one round at the table.

I have J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

folded to button who makes it $40. I reraise to $160. Button Raises $250 more allin. I call. He has A,Ks and I win.

seemed like an easy call at the time given the amount in the pot. However, I calculated that if he has a bigger pair greater than 70% of the time I should fold. Given that he has to expect me to call (i.e., he doesnt have enough firepower to push me out) it doesnt seem all that unreasonable that better than 70% of the time he will have me beat.

I still have a hard time laying this one down. However, what if he went allin for $350 more? $450? The higher the number the less odds I am getting but the great chance he has A,K.

the way it played out, def. call unless he's a nit.

but yes, put 650 in front of him to start, and it starts to swing to a fold.
