Default 77 - Flop Descision

Button is a small maniac -- 41/17/2.2, other guy is unknown but looks loose.

Only one card higher than your pair. I think you have to bet here.

I don't usually play this hand from MP. However I am tighter than most, but I raise 88 from MP, but wait for Button with 77-22. (Also I won't call or re-raise if there is alreay a riase in with these hands unless there are already 3 people in and then I am looking for a set or OESD with these hands to continue past the flop). ---- Also I HATE small pocket pairs, they never feel good post flop unless I hit a set.

On the flop you have second pair, which is a marginal hand, and needs to be protected, so I am check-raising this hand, then leading the turn. If I am three bet on the flop I will call, and still lead the turn, but if the turn is raised back at me, I am folding.

Also if an A comes on the turn, I am not leading out, unless it is down to heads up.

I checkraise this almost 100% of the time.

I typically checkraise, puke when the CO overcalls and button calls, puke again when the turn drops a K, then feel like a puss when I either just give up and check or puke one more time and fold when I decide to lead anyway and get raised by the CO and see the button overcall.

if CO folds and button calls ur CR, and raises ur turn lead on a blank, do you call down?

what if CO folds and button 3bets flop? do u C/F turn UI, because leading the turn in that spot seems to get you raised alot.

I can't fold this HU against the maniac, which is why I was debating a checkraise and then check/call check/call. I'm much more liable to bet/fold the turn UI if the CO coldcalls and the button raises the turn.
