Default Pack gets \"Strip\"ped

(While this resembles a bad-beat post, I'm really just picking on Strip now that I know his ID)

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.

My nemesis, "BBbarry", who according to Poker Tracker is in 4rd place as far as my net loss against any particular player (net -$390, with me having a 12-17 record vs him) is the (rightfully) esteemed poster Stripsqueeze.

Bad enough that the guy is good, selective, and aggressive, but as I've learned very well, he's a total luckbox.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)

Results in white below: <font color="white">
Strip shows 9d Qs (two pair, queens and nines).

I however.. am the anti-luckbox....

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)

<font color="CC3333">Pack bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">Strip raises</font>, <font color="CC3333">Pack 3-bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">Strip caps</font>, Pack calls.

River: (14.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Pack checks, <font color="CC3333">Strip bets</font>, Pack folds.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

Results in white below: <font color="white">
Strip doesn't show.
Outcome: Strip wins 15.50 BB. </font>

Sigh.. now that I go back through these hands I lost $80 more than I should have. Man, I suck.

While Im sure it would be nice to actually win a hand against you Strip, I frankly wouldn't mind if we just decided to ply our chosen trades at seperate locations.

We both did lots of multitabling late at night/early morning in May and June and I'm sure we both had many of the same targets.

Plus Nate's style has generally been conducive for some great tables and I've always been willing to give up some EV because of one tough opponent in exchange for it loosening up everyone else.

Hand 1. After the capped flop, I kinda like a turn check, but I don't mind the bet at all. I think I'd be more likely to call the 3-bet on the flop and then raise a lot of turns. In any case, I think you played this one fine.

Hand 2. Bet the river. I hate strip's T3 defense.

Hand 3. After all that action, I don't like the turn 3-bet.
