Modern Amusement is the sh!t. Nice choice, Mason.

One of my favorite things about it it is that it hasn't made it's way to the east coast really. I have some of their stuff from when I took a trip to LA and it's nice to know that I'll pretty much never run into anyone with one of those shirts on here in DC.

[/ QUOTE ]
I agree. It's still not very popular here either. They had a store open up in Hollywood and it closed pretty fast. Not sure what happened, but they only have small spots at Urban and one Macy's here in LA.

[/ QUOTE ]

They are an LA company, correct?

I got one shirt at Fred Segal and a sweater and the shirt I posted in this thread at some small boutique. I'm surprised they're not doing better out there. I guess those birds are just tough to pull off.

Fine, more seriously.

Everyday tee and jeans with these shoes...

If I were going out tonight, I'd wear this shirt on top instead of a tee shirt.

Jeans are too baggy, its just not "sexy". The night gear is good however, its a marked improvement.

You just earned yourself a 6 on the *TT* sliding scale, I want to give you a 5 but your kicks are too phat to ignore... HI BONUS POINTS!

Its daring, wont be that common even though its BR.

I like that jacket but I don't think someone who's asking the internet what to buy at BR could pull it off.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not asking b/c I need to, I'm just trying to give the thread a little spice. I'm not sure what you mean by "on the internet," I could've just as easily asked on the phone or in person, but the thread presented itself, and I received the card in the mail tonite.

Heh, I think it's kind of tough for a 230 pound man to wear tight jeans.

EDIT: By that I mean, I have the most thunderous of thighs.

For the record, I have taken JBB clothes shopping once. He did rather well, I was impressed.

Not sure where they are based, but I just checked the store locator on their site and they seem to be in a lot of Nordstroms on the East coast.

Wow, you don't look 230. Thats impressive, one of the keys to fashion is to hide your shortcomings. Looks like you have done a better job than I thought!

Ever heard of Andre Leon Talley? He is like 300 lbs, and still dresses impeccably. Don't let your size ever get in the way of your personal statement in style!
