Have you seen MP pulling a move before? Only one reasonable hand just got there, JQ, so I'm not convinced you're beat. He could easily have J9s or something, so I think this depends on your read of MP, especially because your turn bet is a little weak.

could be a delayed raise on a set or KT if he's loose enough to call a raise with it.

i just don't like the flop smooth call and the turn minraise. the hero might as well say "moo" cause he's getting milked like a cow.

Yeah, but a 3/4 bet would pot stuck me, right? And BTW, the fold is easy, the question is whether to bet the turn at all or not.

you can't just check fold the turn after getting called once on the flop with TPTK. that is way too weak imo unless there's some SERIOUS compelling evidence that you're behind and i just don't see it in this case.

I have been trying to fine tune play in such circumstances as well.
When OOP with TPTK I am experimenting with mixing in check raises on the flop.

That way if it gets checked through you pot the turn.

If villain bets weakly on flop, representing a draw, raise them. Hoping for fold but hopefully representing TPTK or better.

I am anxious to hear some feedback on that line.
