NL 2/4 (6 max), KJo For a Raise...Sort Of
Not Super Important hand except:
1. It's a bread and butter 6 max hand. 2. It's KJ (a hand thats poison to Ciaffone Students, played for a raise albeit a mini-raise). Villian in Hand is somewhat looser (36/13/3), views me as tight. I think my preflop call is right, and my turn check good. Probably my flop miniraise sucks? Most importantly wondering about a river bet. Re: NL 2/4 (6 max), KJo For a Raise...Sort Of
I would raise it to at least $50 on the flop, the min raise gives you no information. Given the way you played it the decisions on the turn and river are close, I think you did fine.

Re: NL 2/4 (6 max), KJo For a Raise...Sort Of
A pf miniraise isn't a raise, there's no problem calling KJ there.
Nothing wrong with smooth calling the flop. If you want to raise, you need to raise bigger. If you want a cheap showdown with this kind of hand, the spot to miniraise is the turn. |
