colts superbowl odds
My friend and i got into a heated discussion at work. I wanted to make a bet with him that the Indianapolis Colts would be in the super bowl this year. He said okay ill bet you 20 bucks, and i said "Hold up, you better give me some odds" his reply, "No FUC&^%&^'IN WAY"
So,,,, the question then is,,,, what are the odds of the colts being in the super bowl this year,,,, but more importantly,,,, how do you figure it out? please help,,,,there's money on it

The books have at 3-2, so I'd say its around 3-2.

If the books have it at 3-2, it should probably be about 3-1. They charge their vig on every bet, and on these bets they amp it up.

If you think they'll make it and he thinks they won't, then you got yourself into this mess and he's entitled to offer you evens whatever the odds at the bookmakers might say.
