Default Stud8 Tournaments

Hello fellas ... I am still searching for my answer but can't find it yet. Can anyone clue me into some Stud8 Tournaments in Vegas/Calif/Ariz/New Mex? I can't seem to find them.

Thanks all,

Matthew

I want to say LA, since that's where most of the western hi-lo action is, but I couldn't name a specific cardroom.

There are not any at the major Los Angeles casinos on a regular basis with one exception. Hollywood park runs one on Saturday mornings at 11:30 am.
Saturdays: 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo 11:30 am
Monday - Saturday: $2,000 Guaranteed!* Buy-in: $20* · Entry Fee: $10· $10* Multi-rebuys

Bike used to run a couple micro buy in ones each week, but no longer. Some of the indian casinos might I suppose.

Bike does have them during their major tournament series. Buy ins for these are usually $100-500 with no rebuys.

There are none in New Mexico. There is a 1-5 and 2-10 stud/8 live games spread almost daily at Sandia Casino in Albuquerque. Do you ever make it down to NM to play?

There are none in Vegas. Lots of NL, a few limit, and one place runs O8. That is your listing for Vegas.

Commerce had one last time they had one of their major tournaments. I believe it was $500 buy-in, no rebuy. Read Card Player magazine for a good list of tournaments.

Is a 50% entry fee pretty standard? This seems brutal!

You will typically do enough re buys that it will cost you $60-100 so $10 is not such a large percentage of that number.
