Default *This* is what makes the game good (low content)

I was looking for my old friend from the "AA fold on a KQ6 board" post", and I found him. I decided to sit at a couple of his tables to try to learn more about his play and perhaps ask him his hand if he was so inclined to communicate. Unfortunately, he wasn't very talkative (he didn't say "hi" back) .

Anyhow, instead I found some fish to play with, so I decided to drop down in limits and get some sets paid off.

To be critical of myself, I had a read that he slow-played and passively played AA or KK by the time he called the big turn bet, so I didn't maximize my value on the river. I should have bet the entire pot or even pushed.

If villain never responded to to you, it was probaly because he had chat turned off. If he had chat turned off he probaly plays high volume. If he's plays high volume he's probaly a winning player. If he's a winning player he probaly wouldn't call a 50 dollar PF re-raise with 45s. If he doesn't call a 50 dollar PF re-raise with 45s Garlands original play was in fact correct.

This reasoning may be a stretch, but it's my kind of stretch.

Don't want to sound like a prick, but you should stack him here, and you can find way better examples to show the games are good.

I think gar played it well... he can never know villain was as strong as he was. i would've made less with this hand

He did say he had a read on him that he slowplays AA and KK.

Once he makes it to the river, I put all the money in. AA or KK calls. Straight got there, 9 calls. Q that calls 99, probably calls for the rest, busted draw doesn't matter anyways.

I also think he should manage his bets better so the river is obvious all in.

Ok, well, he had a read villain slowplays, but you realize he has AA or KK maybe 1 in 20 (at best) here? I think gar got full value, sure in retrospect he could've stacked him, but as said, I make less. nh.

I definitely jam river, but I overbet all in a lot. Almost always with a good hand, but I'm capable of semi-bluffing once in a while, and only a pure bluff a few times.

I'm usually pretty good at gauging my opponent's hand strength and getting calls on my overbets.
