Default Poker in Aruba

Does anyone know if there are any poker games in Aruba? I'll be going there next week.

If there is a poker room, how are the games?

Thanks for any help.

The Holiday Inn in Aruba has poker though I didn't get a chance to play since I was there on vacation with my family and busy most of the time. From what I heard, it is 10-20 with a high rake but good action...check it out.

The Holiday Inn has a 3-table cardroom, and deals $5-10 stud and $10-20 HE. Games start at 8:00 PM, but some nights they have to wait to get enough players. If you're not there at the start of a game it can take a long while for a seat to open up. The games break up around 1:00 AM because players bust out and there usually isn't much of a board.

I played for 5 nights in March and the games were quite loose. About half of the players were tourists out to have fun. A couple of the locals were OK but tight-passive.

There were a few quirks in the game, e.g. in 7CS the bring-in gets a chance to raise if noone else did. And the dealers were the worst I've ever seen - so keep your eyes open to catch their mistakes.

Good Luck
