Totalbet and UKbetting

Is it OK for US players to join and play? I have totalbet downloaded, but haven't deposited for fear of not being able to cash out since I remember reading that it wasn't for US players...Am I being paranoid?

I play at both every month for the past 6 and have never had a problem (I live in the US).
