im surprised everyone likes this river play. i think its pretty bad. not only is UTG going to call you with any pair but you have 2 players behind you 1 of which donk bet the flop. the BB will often be calling a raise with a 9 and possibly any pair. you have to hope hes on a busted draw and that UTG has 2 blanks.

I immediately designated this hand as the official end of my running bad [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

[/ QUOTE ] everyone was joking it's ok, pretty bad is a pretty bad understatement [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] also and this isn't meant to be a ride but i think these two statements are contradictory "shown down some good hands as well as some thin value ets/raises." I dunno but unless you are playing against players who have mined hands against your or stats from previous play I never find these two facts run in tandem, perhaps in a more aggressive game where showing down "good" winners means you get played back at next time (because you can't have a good hand twice in a row).

I hate it. The field is too large, and the UTG player has shown enough consistent aggression that I dont think he's folding.
