I figured since he's willing to put so much in preflop with A9o, he might be willing to put alot more in pre with slightly better holdings.

Excellent point, but i still fold. But this is why read is important. Certain players afflicted with fancy play syndrom are always leaving money on table by trying to be overly tricky.

Anyway, I probably bet the 200 on turn and check river. Tough hand.

not to be results oriented, but your line could easily look like an ace from villains perspective. plus on the river, he knows there is a good chance that KK, QQ, etc are calling. plus obviously had you had the A he is losing his stack. i dont think this is a very easy move to pull off without the ace.
