Calendar Program?

Im starting Law school and hoping to do everything witn my laptop. I was wondering if there is a free program, similar i function to a palm pilot that I can put on my laptop. I need daily to do lists for all assignments and poker reminders. Withoug em I may miss some great reloads due to law school distractions [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]. Does anyone have a good suggestion?

mozilla sunbird is a budding calendar project. i'm pretty sure you can actually use palm desktop software without a palmpilot though if you're hard up for free. outlook will be the way to go if you can get it free from school or whatever.
