Default pp 20/40 pre-flop question

you raise first in, in middle position with ace jack offsuit. the button reraises and the small blind caps. do you call this?

I'll never call the cap no matter what the game conditions are.

i folded. i just wanted other opinions since its rare that you would raise and then fold preflop. the flop was A Q Q. The button had 99 and the small blind had KK.

I wouldn't call with AJ unless both of the opponents were crazy. AQ is a little different though.....

I muck in a heartbeat. However, a call with something like 88-99 is much diffrent, and I'd be inclined to call. At least now I have the potential to folp a set. With AJ off. once it comes back to you capped, the threat of a big pocket pair and being crushed by AQ/AK is just too perilous to call.
