Default KQo in EP with limpers

been table hoping, so i didn't have any reads (not that i pay attention anyway). two hands before this however, i did show down a very solid hand.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 folds, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (9.75 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 12.75 BB

i'm not sure if my preflop raise is good or bad. i wanted to and did, but then questioned it later.

This is a fine raise most of the time at these limits I think. You just need to make sure that your postflop play is good enough to get off the hand when you need to. Nice Hand.

I LOVE raising KQo at 0.5/1 from any position (I don't 3-bet with it). So many Party players will limp with KJ, KT, QT, Q9 and other dominated hands that I think you must punish them with a raise.

I think you played it perfectly.

i'll only raise KQo in LP with 2 or 3 limpers. That's it.

Ok, and you fold with 1 or 4 limpers?
You might wanna reconsider, that's to passive play with KQo.

At a loose passive table KQo is a raise for me anywhere but the blinds. I will raise it in the blinds if there is 1 or 2 weak opponents limping.
