Hollywood Home Game -- Great Line from Sexton
For the first time, Mike Sexton had the greatest line I've heard since the WPT inception. I hope I'm not the only one who picked up it...It was during a hand between Richard Karn and Fred Williard..When Karn, with pocket Kings, rivered another king for a set...he bet out...When Willard called quickly says, "Without batting an eye, Fred, with bottom pair and three overcards comes stumbling in the pot."
I guess it wasn't what he said, just how he said it.... |

My favorite was when he said 'we're seeing some excellent poker' as they returned from a break. Mike has obviously got his eye on the bigger picture.

Re: Hollywood Home Game -- Great Line from Sexton
Why god? Why? Why can't I sit down with all these non-card playing celebs? I can't believe how badly they play! They have all the money and nothing to do with it. "What's that Affleck? You play poker? You're good at it? Me? I'm okay. I play every now and then. How about some $10000/$20000 limit to start off?" Why god? Why can't this happen to me?

Re: Hollywood Home Game -- Great Line from Sexton
If you have that kinda bankroll, it CAN happen to you. just move to LA and scout the games. the celebs play all the time. Affleck included. I'm sure you could arrange to play those stakes with some of them. or maybe slightly lower...
