Foot rests...

for an xmass present my older brother wants a foot rest. He works a desk job, and the foot rest is supposed to help his posture sitting. Does anyone have one of these, have any comments or sugesstions?

I used the bottom one for about 5 years . They do help, but why the hell isn't his employer getting it for him? Cheap bastards.

Do you sometimes wish that it was more adjustable? The top one is height adjustable, but the bottom one more resembles the one he wants. (i can't just ask him, he doesn't know about it, i am getting this information third hand from a erson whose primary language isn't english)
