Default a hypothetical situation

you recieve a pop-up from Party saying that they will artificially pad one pot that you participate in if you start a full-ring 2/4 table for them.

You go to the table, and the following occurs:

You sit down vs two unknowns, and everyone posts a blind. Party adds 2sb to the pot, making it 5sb total.

you're dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in position 1, and pf checks around.

flop:6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

you check, villain A checks, and villain B bets. What's your plan?

I voted fold. I have 3 maybe only 2 J potential outs and 1 of my 2's is tainted. Then you have villain A still to act, he's an unknown, it could be raised and 3bet back to you in a heartbeat. Send Party a thank you and offer to start a new table every 5 minutes til you get a good starting hand.

vs. two unknowns this a fold everytime. My pot equity can't be great and I don't know if I have any fold equity. Plus I'm OOP. Move on.

I raised, but mainly because I got a free look at a bloated pot (there were actually two more posters in the hand), and I couldn't see check-folding a hand with value vs a group of random and unintersted hands.

I seem to be in the minority though, so I've got to give this one more thought.

The actual hand was posted here
